The forecast is calling for a chance to participate in technology training.
Friday, February 6th FLIP Video training in the Library. 8:00am-8:20
-Use of the camera.
-Saving videos to computer.
-Making movies and saving them to a jump drive.
This is an optional training; however, if you are interested in using this “kid friendly” piece of technology you are going to want to be able to save your work.
Come to PowerPoint Creation Training in the Computer Lab.
Thursday, February 26th (3:30-4:30) Getting Start with PowerPoint (Beginners Class)
Friday, February 27th (3:30-4:30) Taking Off with Power Point (Advanced Class)
Many teachers have expressed a desire to learn how to create PowerPoint presentations. I am offering two different levels of instruction. You may attend both sessions; however you will only be paid for one of them. Please let me know if you are interested in this training and if these dates work for you. To those of you who plan to attend, remember to bring a jump drive so your production can be saved.
This blog was created to enable teachers to collaborate on technology issues.

Hey!
ReplyDeleteAmy and I are doing afterschool tutoring on Thursdays and would like to attend the power point training. Joanna told me she will work with anyone who cannot attend Thursday to set up another day. Just let her know.
Joanna,
ReplyDeleteI'd like to attend the Power point presentation, but we have tutoring on Thursdays. What can we do?
I want to do the beginner power point presentation. I am trying to be more of a computer guru. Thanks.
