Take One Step at a Time.

Andrew Heller said, “Technology is like a fish. The longer it stays on the shelf, the less desirable it becomes.” I am here to help you use all of our wonderful equipment. Don't hesitate to ask. We have been off to a super start in completing the first round of TechStep projects. I enjoyed being in your classrooms to trouble shoot problems as they arise. For the projects to count the rubric scores must be recorded into the site. So far there have been four teachers on staff that have fully completed this task. If you need assistance in this step of the project do not hesitate to ask. I am looking forward to co-teaching your first writing essays. Here are some new problems I have witnessed in the past week. Students still want to press the "caps lock" button down instead on holding the shift button. The problem comes when they forget to release the "caps lock" button and have to retype everything. Also, continue to teach spacing, (between words, punctuation, and sentences.) Note and watch for this new problem. Students think that text shortcuts are perfectly fine when you are typing anything.
